John Belancik III (JB) – Creative Director and Senior UX/UI Designer
Prior to founding Paths & Pixels, JB was a Senior Game Designer and Animator at GameLogic Inc. where he developed large-scale online gaming platforms, user experiences and interactive marketing programs for the casino and lottery industries. JB helped create the award winning GameLogic portfolio of proprietary games and brands, including PlayAway™, MegaChallengePlay™, NewPlay™, PlayerVantage™, and PokerPlay™. Responsible for helping build, promote and maintain the GameLogic identity and marketing, JB’s contributions played a role in growing the company client roster of 3 casinos to over 20+ casinos and multiple state lotteries in less than 3 years.
JB is a hands-on designer and has developed many products in both print and interactive mediums, spanning the entertainment, technology, food & beverage and education markets. JB has created award winning products and design on both East and West coasts and prides himself on keeping up with the latest design tools so he can be in the design trenches working alongside his team members. He has lead global creative teams and held senior creative director/design positions at Edible Arrangements, Prudential Retirement, GameLogic Inc, TechDepot – An Office Depot Company, Knowledge Universe’s Knowledge Kids Network, Daymon Worldwide Design and Zunda Design Group.

JB earned his B.F.A. in Graphic Design from the University of Connecticut, and has his Autodesk Maya Certification from Great Eastern Technology. He most recently completed his certification for IDEO-U’s Leading For Creativity..
